for failing which is probably the cause of your eratic idle. I would bet that the T-Tops leak in that car. The vinyl bunching up is probably from water damage would be my guess. As for the hollow metallic sound you are talking about - I don't know exactly what you are talking about but remember that these cars are sports cars from over a decade ago and are not goign to have the SAME quality of fit and finish that a brand new car would have......either way it sounds like you are making the right choice avoiding that one. I am sure you are anxious to buy but just be patient - because buying the right one can make or break the Z experience.......
